Emma Watson Defends Kristen Stewart-Harry Potter' actress Emma Watson has defended Kristen Stewart, who cheated on her boyfriend Robert Pattinson with married director Rupert Sanders.

Emma Watson has defended Kristen Stewart for cheating on Robert Pattinson. Speaking to Vogue Italia, Emma Watson defended her pal, Kristen Stewart, saying the press treated her viciously after she made the very "human" mistake of cheating on her boyfriend Robert Pattinson with director Rupert Sanders. "Those who criticized her are the same people that think that being rich and famous is like being

covered in some kind of magic powder that makes life perfect: Nothing can go wrong in your wonderful world," said Watson. "For these people, Kristen deserves all the bad things that have been thrown at her because she had an amazing life and she ruined it." She continued: "I thought that the media picked on her in a very horrible way. Kristen is human, just like everybody else, and she's so young. Everyone makes mistakes, everyone. It's not fair to consider them matters of public interest. The 'Twilight Saga' actress had a fling with married director Rupert Sanders last year, leading to a brief break-up with her boyfriend Robert, but the 'Perks Of Being A Wallflower' star Emma believes ''everyone makes mistakes''.

She explained: ''Kristen is human, just like everybody else, and she's so young. Everyone makes mistakes, everyone. It's not fair to consider them matters of public interest. On one hand, I can understand why it happened: people felt really involved in her relationship with Robert Pattinson. But it's also true that they both have done everything in their power to keep their relationship as far from the public eye as possible.''

Emma,22, also insisted just because they are young, rich and famous doesn't mean people like her or 22-year-old Kristen have an easier life than others.

She added to Vanity Fair Italy: ''People think that that being rich and famous is like being covered in some kind of magic powder that makes life perfect: Nothing can go wrong in your wonderful world. For these people, Kristen deserves all the bad things that have been thrown at her because she had an amazing life and she ruined it.''
