Some of us recall closed-mouth smiles while wearing our teeth-straightening gear. But the country star was fearless, sporting a massive smile during the red carpet appearance and while she was up on stage.
The appearance of Faith Hill’s braces confused many who saw them for the first time at the Country Music Awards, Her fans were used to her flawless smile and confused as to why the singer had them on. She explained, however, “I had braces as a kid. I forgot to wear my retainer.” Hill is also being a good role model for her daughters with her new addition. The mom revealed that Gracie (her oldest daughter with Tim McGraw) and Maggie (their middle daughter) both have braces.
At the 2012 CMAs, Hill performer her latest single, ‘American Heart,’ and is currently gearing up for a series of Soul2Soul dates with her husband at Las Vegas’ Venetian hotel and casino. The residency begins Dec. 7 and will run through April 2013.
Hill revealed the duo will sing together, rather than independently, “pretty much the entire show, about 90 percent of the time. It’s one of the most creative things Tim and I have ever done.”
