Randy Moss Alligator Armed Kaepernick Interception, Randy Moss ‘Alligator Armed’ Colin Kaepernick Interception, According to Bill Romanowski, Randy Moss took a lot of heat for his performance in Super Bowl XLVII on Sunday. The legendary wide receiver caught just two passes for 41 yards on five targets. That unimpressive stat line may have been due to lack of effort, according to four-time Super Bowl champion Bill Romanowski. “Randy Moss, he alligator armed it.

He didn’t go up for the ball,” Romanowski said emphatically on Comcast Sports Net. “He said he was the best receiver in the damn world — ok, you hear me? Oh god. That pisses me off. You’re playing in the Super Bowl, guys.” Romanowski wasn’t the only 49ers legend that noticed Moss wasn’t playing to his full extent. Former wide receiver Dwight Clark agreed that Moss didn’t try for the pass that sailed over his head. “He didn’t alligator arm it, he didn’t even reach up for it,” Clark said. “He watched it sail over his head.” Moss signed a one-year deal with the 49ers in March after taking the 2011 season off. He has yet to win a Super Bowl in his 15-year career.
