Couple Wins Lottery Twice, Couple wins lottery twice: $1M plus claimed- An Arkansas couple struck gold twice after winning $1 million and $50,000 jackpots, both of them during this past weekend.
Stephen, 54, and Terri Weaver, 55, of Stuttgart, Ark., left on Friday for a weekend trip to a cabin near Greers Ferry Lake, over 100 miles away. On Saturday evening, they stopped at T-Ricks convenience store in the nearby city of Pangburn. Stephen bought five $1 Million Riches instant scratch-off tickets while his wife bought four. The Arkansas couple may have been happy with the first ticket which hit for $1 million.
The second ticket wasn't too shabby either, scoring the duo another $50,000. The tickets were purchased at T-Ricks convenience store in Pangburn -- a little store that is now making big news.
It's not often that a couple wins the lottery twice -- never mind two times in such a short period of time. While the Weaver's could afford to buy a boat or a new house, they have decided to save their money and just live a comfortable life. According to the lottery commissioner, the couple plans on paying off their bills and investing in their retirement. Perhaps more fishing trips will also be on their agenda.
