Chris Brown Rihanna Grammy Awards, Four years ago, Rihanna and then-boyfriend Chris Brown failed to show at the 2009 Grammy Awards when they were scheduled to perform, because of what was later revealed to be a domestic violence incident.
Brown first pled not guilty to the felony assault charges, then later pleaded guilty and received five years probation and 180 days of community service. He was also ordered to stay at least 50 feet away from Rihanna.
However, the two have since reconciled, going so far as to release a new single titled "Nobodies Business." And now there is a report from Hollywood Life that the two are attending the 2013 Grammy Awards together. Rihanna was "looking forward to the Grammys and [she] will be with Chris the whole night, so you know that's going to be extra f*cking special. He already told her he would go with her, so it's a wrap."
And in a revealing interview with Rolling Stone magazine, Rihanna confirmed that she had taken her ex-boyfriend back into her life, saying that she was happier with him than without. "I decided it was more important for me to be happy," she said. "I wasn't going to let anybody's opinion get in the way of that.
Even if it's a mistake, it's my mistake. After being tormented for so many years, being angry and dark, I'd rather just live my truth and take the backlash. I can handle it." Chris Brown Involved In Paparazzi Crash The Night Before The Grammys, Maybe next year Chris Brown should just stay at home the night before he is due to attend the Grammy Awards. The R&B star has once again been involved in an incident on the eve of the Grammy Awards – only this time he was involved in a car crash in LA on Saturday after attempting to escape the paparazzi.
The Kiss Kiss singer was on his way to the Debbie Allen Dance Academy for a Symphonic Love Foundation charity event when two vehicles reportedly cut him off. According to US news show Extra, when the passengers jumped out of the cars with cameras, Chris quickly reversed down a nearby alley and crashed into two vehicles.
The singer's car was totalled in the smash, but his representative tells Extra he is fine and he was still able to attend the charity bash.
As we all know this is not the first time Chris has made the headlines pre-Grammys.
Back in 2009, Chris was in the news for all the wrong reasons after assaulting his girlfriend Rihanna during a fight on the way home from a party, which left Rihanna black and blue and resulted in a conviction against Chris and both stars pulling out of their appearances at the awards ceremony.
